Glancy has a lean, athletic build at 5-foot-10 175-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.75-seconds and recorded an exit velocity of 82 MPH. Offensively- Glancy starts in a stall, neutral stances with hands above back shoulder and bat wrapped around head. As pitch comes in, uses a small leg lift and stride. Hands load up and back slightly. Elastic, explosive torso and quick hands produce gap to gap power. Balanced and lift in finish. Middle of the order-type projection. Defensively – from the outfield, recorded throws that topped at 85 MPH. True-3/4 slot, long loose arm. Throws had some armside run and were on a line to target. Ball jumps out of his hand with carry. One of the top OF prospects in NJ's 2019 class.
New Jersey State Games (July 26-27, 2017)
Glancy has a lean, athletic build at 5-foot-10 170-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.51-seconds, a PBR New Jersey record for the fastest 60 time. Recorded an exit velocity of 85 MPH. Offensively – Starts in a wide, slightly opened stance with hands above back shoulder and bat wrapped around head. Uses a small foot lift and stride to start swing. Explosive hands and hips through the zone creates gap to gap power. Launched a towering home run in game play over the left field fence, as well as a long ground rule double. One of the top uncommitted 2019 prospects in the state. Defensively – took reps from the outfield. Throws topped at 86 MPH. Long, loose arm action, ball had armside run and sink on the bag.
Preseason All-State Showcase (February 11th, 2017)
Glancy has a lean, athletic build at 5-foot-10 170-pounds. One of the top performers from the event. Ran a 7.01 60 yard dash. Recorded exit velocity that topped at 90 mph. OF velocity of 87 mph. Offensively- starts with a tall slightly opened stance with hands just above shoulder. As pitch comes in, uses a leg kick and hands load back and up. Violent movements in hips and hands with swing. Creates gap to gap power. One of the best batting practices of the event. Defensively- Free and easy arm action, quick twitch athlete. Plays through throws on release. High-3/4 arm slot with carry and life to arm. High follow prospect.
