Athletic, stocky build at 5-foot-10, 185-pounds. Kurzrock ran an above average 60-yard dash time in 6.95 seconds. At the plate he and a balanced stance with his weight on his back leg with a pre load. Had quick hands to the plate with a smooth follow through. His exit velocity was 81 MPH. In the outfield he showed off a solid arm with a throwing velocity of 84 MPH. He also was able to show his athleticism off in the out field. At shortstop he had mechanically correct footwork with a quick transfer. The ball also had carry to 1st base.
