Offensively- Starts in a relaxed, upright stance with an even base and some bend in the knees. Hands start above his shoulders and work down and back into a strong load position. Uses a moderate leg kick for timing. Short hands to the ball, flat barrel through the hitting zone. Makes hard contact when he gets the ball out in front. Finishes on an uphill plane with two hands, max exit velo of 93 MPH.
Defensively- Starts in an athletic position with bend in the knees and takes long, fluid strides on approach. Stays low during his approach and plays downhill, fields the ball out in front in the middle of his body with soft, sure hands. Short arm swing with a ¾ arm slot, 76 MPH arm strength from the IF.
