6-foot-2, 170-pound projectable frame. On the mound, he had a loose arm action with a high ¾ angle. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher.. During delivery balance point is a tall. Uphill shoulders going down the mound. Clean, repeatable arm action into a high-3/4 slot. Athletic, firm front landing leg. Creates some extension out front. Fastball sat 77-79 and topped at 81 mph. Flashed a curveball at 61-62 with gradual 11/5 break. Changeup had some armside fade to it at 70-73. Slider showed smaller, more lateral 10/4 movement at 67-70. 

Somers has a 6-foot-1, 160-pound projectable frame. On the mound, shows quick arm he had a high ¾ arm angle with a short arm action. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort in his delivery. Throws curveball at 63-64 that shows smaller 11/5 bite. His fastball sat 79-80 mph; with a max of 80 mph. Strike thrower.
