2/20/22

Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-9, 145lb build with plenty of room to add. 6.80 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH - Quiet, balanced stance into the lower half, as the hands operated pre-set at the shoulder with barrel-tilt forward. Utilized a controlled leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish. Middle of the field approach yielding an 89 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak. Found the gaps on occasion when getting the head out, accruing a 331 foot distance to the pull-side. Consistent, contact hitter that finds barrels and adjusts.

Defensively: The middle infielder showed lower posture that worked right to left on the ball, as soft hands played smoothly out in front. Quick exchange and kept the feet moving at all times on a line to the target. Really finished off the throw from a H ¾ slot, following for a couple steps after the release (86 mph best). Could drop down and throw lower on the run accurately, natural feel.

2/06/21

Physical- Slender, athletic, 5-foot-8, 135lbs frame. 6.96 runner in the 60.

Loads his hands back along with a big leg kick he uses as a timing mechanism. Average bat speed with the swing working flat to and through the point of contact. Solid extension, and lots of line drives, finished with a max exit velo of 89 MPH.

Defensively- Starts in a wide, athletic stance and uses a pre-pitch prep hop for timing. Approaches the ball low to the ground and uses consistent, confident footwork to field the ball in the middle of his body. Fluid lateral movements. Short arm swing with a high ¾ arm slot, 80 MPH arm strength from the IF.

7/06/20

5-foot-8, 125-pound. Recorded a 60 time of 7.02 at the event. Starts in a balanced open stance with a smooth small load, then uses a small leg kick just before his swing. Bat speed is average, displays simple loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Base hit approach. the left-handed hitters best exit velocity was 82 mph. Smooth while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 77 mph; has a quick fluid exchange, twitchy hands and athletic rhythmic feet. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot.
