Stands at 6-foot-3, 170-pounds. Super wiry and athletic, tons of projection in the frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.33 seconds, top exit velocity of 89 MPH. Tall and loose in his stance offensively. Hands start up higher and create some pre-pitch rhythm. Average leg kick, stays on time. Showed the ability to turn the barrel with quick hands. Tons of line drives throughout his round, present barrel awareness. In the infield, hopped to the ball with quick transfers. Able to change arm slots based on positioning. On the mound, the had one of the top showings of the day. Starts in a modified stretch on the first base side of the rubber. Gradual start to his delivery with an aggressive second half, as he goes down the mound. Uphill shoulder tilt, feet stay in line. Long, loose, clean arm action. Higher 3/4 slot. FB with some real life through the zone touched 91 MPH and routinely sat in the 89-90 MPH range. Slider showed later horizontal sweep at 74-75 MPH. Also displayed a straight CH at 81-82 MPH. 

Wiry and athletic frame at 6-foot-2, 170-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.84 seconds and recorded an exit velo of 84 MPH. Starts wide and open at the plate with his hands high, up by his head. Quick leg kick paired with a down and back movement of his hands. Twitchy actions. Lots of movement, but stays on time. Line drive pop to all fields. Recorded a positional velo of 82 MPH. Athletic actions, works around the ball. Fields out front and funnels the ball. Makes throws from over the top. On the mound, DeRias starts in a modified stretch position on the first base side of the rubber. High leg kick. Works well into his backside, rides the slope. Gets over his front while keeping stride direction in line. Long, loose arm action. High 3/4 arm slot. FB was 85-86 MPH, touching 87 MPH, with late life. Bigger, lateral CB at 66-69 MPH. CH had occasional two plane movement at 76-77 MPH.
