Halbruner has a lanky, athletic frame at 6-foot-2 180-pounds. One of the top performers of the whole event. Projectable frame with room to fill out. Fastball topped at 86 MPH and sat mostly 83-85. Flashed a curveball with 1/7 shape at 69-70 for strikes. Lower-3/4 slot, sling-shot type arm action, produces heavy armside sink and run on fastball. Tough angle to pick up from hitter's perspective. Tall balance point, turns hips before going down the mound. Explosive descent down the mound, clean, athletic arm. Drop and drive type pitcher with back side. Shoulders have downhill angle. One of the top pitchers in South Jersey in the spring.
