McKenna has a long, wiry athletic 6-foot-5, 196-pound projectable frame. On the mound, where he showed quick arm speed to the plate, he used a long arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows easy effort in his delivery. His fastball sat 85-87 mph; and topped at 88 mph; which showed late life. Shows 1/7 action on his curveball 74-75. His changeup regularly came in at velocities of 77-78 mph, was more swing-and-miss for McKenna. Changeup over CB for now; McKenna's projectable frame and quick arm stood out for coaches at the event.
