Vitale has a 5-foot-11, 150-pound lean frame; SS/RHP. At the plate, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 78 mph. Started in open stance and had a quick load. Showed a level swing plane, rapid bat speed and a high finish. While in the infield, showed ability to throw up to 83 mph across the field; showed rhythmic footwork, a quick exchange and soft hands. Showed a short arm action and a ¾ slot. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.96. On the mound, he has quick arm speed to the plate and throws from a ¾ arm angle. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher. He sat with his fastball at 79-81 mph; and topped out at 82 mph; throws a running fastball that has some action. throws a sinking changeup that has some accuracy. He located his curveball for a strike at 67-68 mph.


Vitale has an athletic build at 5-foot-11 145-pounds with room to fill out. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.34-seconds and topped at 78 MPH with his exit velocity. Offensively, Vitale is left handed and starts in a slightly opened  stance with hands above back shoulder. Uses a foot tap and stride to start swing. Hands load straight back. Smooth left handed swing through the zone with extension in wrists and arms to the baseball. Easy, balanced throughout, finishes uphill. Defensively, throws topped at 76 MPH across the infield from SS from a lower-¾ slot.  Recoil in throws, fields ball under body and has a quick glove exchange at midsection. Able to throw from different slots on the run. On the mound, fastball topped at 77 MPH and sat mostly 74-76. Flashed a breaking ball at 67-68 with 11/5 bite and a changeup with some armside run at 70-72. Firm balance leg, drops and drive down the mound. Downhill shoulders at first foot landing. true-¾ slot with armside run on fastball. Finishes tall on front leg and will drift to first base side of rubber.
