The left handed hitter stands at the plate with his feet even and narrow. Hands start at shoulder height with his bat resting on his shoulder. Creates pre-swing rhythm. Uses a big leg kick. Hands move down and back during his load. Swings with controlled aggression. Fully engages his lower half. Gap-to-gap power potential. Took defensive reps in the outfield and recorded a top velo of 83 MPH. Approached the ball under control. Made his transfer at around chest height. Used a crow hop before firing strong throws. On the mound, Timmons starts with his feet facing the plate and towards the third base side of the rubber. Long, clean arm action. 3/4 arm slot. Showed rhythm and tempo. Even shoulder tilt as he goes down the mound. Stride direction in line. Fastball sat 81-82 MPH and topped 82 MPH. Slider showed 11/5 shape with occasional sharp tilt at 76-77 MPH. Changeup displayed both run and fade at the bottom of the zone at 76-77 MPH.
