Jackson is a phsically built catcher at 5-foot-11 230-pounds. Has some foot agility for a bigger body - ran 60 in 7.36. Offensively, really uses strength in legs and hips to his advantage. Line drive type hitter, starts with wide base and uses a toe tap as a timing mechanism. Clears hips through the zone and gets good extension.
Defensively - Showed the top catcher velocity down to second base at 80 mph. Footwork was clean, pop times ranged from 2.12-2.25. Had some trouble with transfer, but throws for the most part were on line.
