Physical- Athletic, projectable 6-foot, 180lbs frame. 6.99 runner in the 60.
Offensively- Starts in a relaxed, balanced setup with an even base and his hands just below his shoulder. Small stride for timing, shows quick hands getting to the zone, getting on plane early. Solid use of the lower half, swing has some natural loft, working uphill on finish with a two handed finish. Good feel for the barrel, consistently making hard contact. Max exit velo of 92 MPH.
Defensively- Starts upright and gets low on the approach, using short, fluid steps on approach. Fields the ball outside his gloveside foot with two hands, making for easy, clean transfers. Small crowhop to release, moderate arm swing with a high ¾ arm slot. 77 MPH arm strength from the OF.
