Batts has a strong, broad-shouldered frame at 5-foot-11, 210-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.55 seconds with a top exit velocity recorded at 98 MPH, one of the tops at the event. Starts in a tall and open stance, weight clearly on his back foot. Hands begin by his back shoulder and move down and back along with his body during his load. Coils into the back hip before exploding off it. Strong lower half. Nature barrel awareness with easy juice to all fields. One of the top rounds of the day. In the infield, worked well laterally with proper footwork. Immediate funnel into his midsection, stays athletic through throws. Top positional velocity of 81 MPH.
5-foot-11, 230-pounds, strong and broad-shouldered frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.76 seconds with a top exit velo of 99 MPH, one of the tops at the event. Starts tall in an open stance. Big leg kick. Hands are strong through the zone. Easy gap-to-gap power. Creates extension in his back leg. Hips clear through the zone. Recorded a top throwing velo of 76 MPH in the infield. Fields out front with an immediate transfer. Athletic movements, plays through the ball.
5-foot-10, 230-pound sturdy frame. During batting practice, Batts had an exit velocity of 95 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Started in an open stance with a quick load, then used a small leg kick before his swing. Bat speed is explosive, shows short swing plane and high finish. He barreled up multiple balls in his round of BP. Gap to gap approach. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 76 mph; has consistent hands, athletic feet and a quick exchange. Used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a time of 7.84 in the 60-yard dash.
