Salinas has a real strong and athletic frame at 5-foot-9, 180-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.65 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 84 MPH. At the plate, starts in a slightly open stance with his body in a tall position. Weight is shifted onto his backside pre-pitch. Hands move back and up during his load. Slight bat wrap. Hanging leg kick. Uses lower half effectively. Hips clear through the zone, creating some gap-to-gap power. Hands stay through the zone, made hard contact consistently. Took defensive reps in the infield and recorded a positional velo of 82 MPH. Showed range in the field. Stays athletic, plays through throws. Smooth transfers, looked fluid overall.
