Hands start low, below the shoulder, with minimal movement during the load. Brings his elbow to parallel. Small, hanging stride. Natural lift on his swing. Balanced approach, hard contact in the middle of the field. High finish. Recorded a velo of 76 MPH in the infield. Stays low to the ball and remains athletic when making throws. Immediate transfer after making a play. Compact arm action when throwing to bases. On the mound, Rogers begins with his feet wide in the windup. Even shoulder tilt with a low frontside. Lands closed at foot strike. Gets over his front leg. Slight pause at the top of his delivery, reaching his balance point. Hands stay tight to the body. Shorter arm stroke. High 3/4 arm slot.
