3/05/22

Eilbacher stands at 6-foot-1, 160-pounds. Super wiry and athletic frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.19 seconds with a top exit velocity of 93 MPH. At the dish, starts tall and open but gets into a much wider and athletic position at footstrike after his leg kick. Back elbow stays parallel to the ground. Generated some gap-to-gap pop, largely in part due to the hip/shoulder separation he creates in his load. Impressive round overall. In the outfield, had a controlled pursuit of the ball, always fielded outside his left foot. Long arm action and high frontside. Also took reps in the infield, where he showed quick lateral movements and an ability to make smooth exchanges on difficult balls. His top positional velocity from both the infield and outfield was 77 MPH.

6/19/21

Tall and lanky frame at 6-foot-1, 155-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.21 seconds with an exit velo of 93 MPH. Starts tall at the plate in a slightly open stance. Keeps his hands free and easy, move directly backwards during his load. Big stride puts him into a more athletic position with a wider base. Hands are strong through the zone, some line drive pop. In the outfield, recorded a throwing velo of 77 MPH. Fields outside of his body. High frontside, aggressive through his throws. Recorded 78 MPH on infield throws. Works around the baseball. Funnels the ball in. Makes his transfer out front.

2/15/21

5-foot-10, 145lb lean, lanky frame; 7.32 runner in the 60 yard dash. Feet start just outside shoulder width with the barrel wrapped around his head. Uses a simple, yet effective, leg lift that gets him loaded and on time to swing. Works a strong turn of the lower half to get things moving, followed by an aggressive rotation of his upper body that creates a lot of power behind his swing. Sprayed line drives up the middle with some balls lifted hard to the pull side, max exit velo of 87 MPH. In the outfield, he takes good routes to stay in line with the baseball and his target. Fields off the non glove side foot and goes into a big crow hop where he throws from a long, over the top slot. Registered a 76 MPH outfield velo. In the infield, he displays range to his glove side with the ability to field and throw quickly. Fields out in front with a soft glove and funnels to the belt. Throws from a shorter slot than he does in the infield. Long take away from the glove but works quickly with good arm speed upon the release, registered a 76 MPH infield velo as well.

7/05/20

5-foot-8, 135-pound lanky frame. During batting practice, Eilbacher had a max exit velocity of 85 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a small controlled load, then used a controlled stride to initiate his swing. Has flat swing plane and has high finish. Line drive approach. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 76 mph; showed a clean exchange and sure hands. In the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 76 mph; showed a fluid exchange and athletic footwork. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.62 at the event.
