Offensively- Upright, slightly open stance with some bend in the knees. Uses a small stride for timing. Hands are quick through the zone with a flat barrel path and a one-handed finish. Max exit velo of 92 MPH.
Defensively- Traditional catcher’s setup with slight offset, receives well by matching plane of the incoming pitch. Quick out of the crouch with clean transfers, short arm stroke to an over the top release slot. 2.05-2.17 pop time, 72 MPH arm strength from the crouch.
