6-foot-3, 182-pound projectable frame. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.57. Begins in a wide crouched stance with a small load, then uses a quick stride just before his swing. Has simple flat swing plane and level finish. Line drive approach. Hollender showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 91 mph. Throw downs to second topped out at 75 mph; shows athletic feet, a quick clean exchange and soft hands. Wide setup with some flexibility. Behind the plate, produced pop times of 2.00-2.07. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot.

6-foot-2, 180-pound, longer lean athletic frame. The shoulders are squared off, back is wider, has plenty of room for added weight. A right-handed hitting catcher, also worked off the mound. Defensively, arm was clocked at 72 mph, whippy loose arm action, pop time of 1.96-2.04. Flight and carry to the baseball, comes out of the hand with ease. Moves well behind the dish, soft hands on the catch, anticipates the block, quick scramble. Pitchers looked to be comfortable throwing to him. Also worked at 1st base, arm was clocked at 76 mph, from a higher slot. The feet are active and clean, accurate drop steps starting the double play. The hands are soft on the picks and catch. At the plate, wide, spread out stance, slightly closed off. The swing path is down to level to up, with more of a pull approach. Showing natural lift and loft to the swing. The tee exit velocity was recorded at 81 mph, had hard contact in batting practice. Worked off the mound as well, threw 10 pitches, arm is really quick, baseball comes out well, touched 81 mph, without much effort. Threw a breaking ball at 67 mph. The delivery was simple, will need to spend some time getting everything to work, but the arm has a chance.

The 2022 catcher as a projectable lean athletic frame. At the plate, the right handed hitter stands in the box in a wide stance. Short simple load actions. Displayed a quick direct path to the baseball. Hard consistent contact to the middle of the field during the batting practice portion. Defensively, the 2022 graduate worked out behind the dish. Presents a big target for the pitcher. Displayed active footwork behind the dish. Above average transfer and a quick release from a mid 3/4 arm slot. The 2022 catcher is projectable and a must follow.
