Strong presence in the box, stays wide and athletic. Minimal load, stays on time. Strong lower half. Creates some pre-pitch rhythm with his hands. Easy power to the pullside, consistent exit velos in high 90’s. In the infield, quality first step, works well laterally. Utilizes a glove tap before making throws, top infield velocity of 82 MPH. On the bump, McIntire had a gradual delivery with athletic actions. Slower movements to start, aggressive actions as he strides. Uphill shoulder tilt, lands slightly closed. Compact arm action. Fastball had some ride in the zone at 84-86 MPH, touching 87 MPH. Big 12/6 shape on the curveball, more bite when at the bottom of the zone, at 67-71 MPH. Quality changeup with intent and sink at 79-80 MPH.
