Offensively – starts in an opened stance and in a crouch with hands in line with back shoulder. Uses a foot stride to start swing as hands load straight back and bat wraps around head slightly. Shows some quickness in hands through the zone. Finishes tall with lift in follow through. Stays balanced throughout swing. Line drive hitter. Defensively – Throws to 2B topped at 76 MPH and recorded pop times that were consistently between 2.04-2.15 both during the workout and in gameplay. Streim shows comfortability with catching advanced velocity and soft hands when receiving. Throws had carry and were on the bag with backspin.
