New Jersey Games (July 23-25, 2016)
Pirrotta has a tall athletic frame at 6-foot-5 206-pounds. Wagner commit. Projectable frame with room for muscle. topped at 84 but sat 83-84 for entire outing. Throws from high 3/4 arm slot. Stabby-type arm action. Showcased hard slider with 10/4 depth at 75. Bottom breaks out, late movement with fastball hand speed.

9/20/15 -- Pirrotta is long and lean and has a highly projectable build. He has put on weight and looks much more physical since I've seen him in mid-June. He pitches with normal tempo and has a clean but abbreviated arm action more typical of a stock right-hander. The pattern in which his arm moves is very efficient but it takes away some from the potential leverage and plane. He commanded his fastball well at 81-84 miles-per-hour. His breaking ball is a work in progress as it has potential 12-to-6 shape but was just rolling in action. Working on a new CH grip, he seemed to be cutting it off to his glove side. Pirrotta will end up at a high level as he has the athleticism to continue to make improvements.
6/21-6/23/15 -- Pirrotta has a long, lean frame and is wiry strong. He pitches between 81-84 (85) miles-per-hour with his fastball that has some good angle. He also shows the ability to throw a tight breaking ball at 69-71 MPH. He has a clean arm action with a slight pause in the back end used as a timing mechanism. He is occasionally late to break his hands, particularly with his breaking ball but that could be cleaned up with more time on the mound. He is solid directionally and almost always gets over his front side. He is aggressive in the zone and showed signs of plus fastball command.
