Goranson has a physical 6-foot 165-pound frame with broad shoulders and defined lower half. Was one of the top prospects from the entire event, and stood out during gameplay with his gap to gap power.. During batting practice, the right handed  hitter showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 93 mph. He made strong, efficient throws to second at velocities up to 83 mph. Behind the plate, his pop time was registered at 2.00-2.01; During the event, he clocked a 60 time of 7.35.

Goranson has a broad shouldered, athletic frame at 6-foot 165-pounds. Was one of the top overall performers from the event and one of the top uncommitted 2020 catchers in the state. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.24-seconds and recorded an exit velocity of 89 MPH, one of the highest of the event. At the plate, Goranson starts in a tall, athletic stance with hands in line with back shoulder. As pitch arrives, Goranson uses a foot stride to start swing as hands load back and up slightly.  Powerful, explosive hips and hands through the zone. Balanced finish with lift to swing. Behind the plate, Goranson topped at 82 MPH with throws to 2B and recorded pop times between 1.97-2.12 – both of which were top stats out of the catching crop of the event. Soft hands when receiving and stays low has he rises out of the crouch to throw. Efficient, quick movements in transfer out of the crouch help the ball get out of his hand with swiftness. Throws jumped out of hand with backspin and carry.


Goranson stands at 6-foot, 165-pounds. Possesses a real lean and athletic frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.55 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 86 MPH. Offensively, starts slightly open in a balanced stance. Hands begin just above shoulder height, near his body. Exaggerated weight shift onto his backside. Pre-swing rhythm. Small stride. Hands go down and back during his load. Elbow becomes parallel to the ground. Swings with controlled aggression. Present bat speed. Consistently strong contact, gap to gap power potential. Aggressive lower half. One-handed finish. Defensively, took reps as a catcher and recorded a velo of 78 MPH. Feet stay on line to his target. Transfers the ball at midsection height. Recorded pop times ranging from 2.15-2.22 seconds.
