Kenney is strong and compact at 5-foot-10, 175-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.15 seconds with a top exit velo of 92 MPH. Offensively, sets up in an even and balanced stance. Normal leg kick, smooth weight transfer with an efficient lower half. Hand works down and back in his load, bringing his barrel upright. Strong contact throughout his round, line-drive pop. Behind the plate, recorded pop times ranging from 2.01-2.08 seconds, top velo of 78 MPH. Stays low and through his legs on throws. Strong/accurate tosses.
Kenney has a 5-foot-7, 150-pound lean frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 77 mph. Started in an athletic, crouched stance with a smooth load, then used a short stride before his swing. Shows an upward swing plane and high finish. Gap to gap approach. While catching, pop time was 2.30-2.44. He produced a position velocity of 69 mph during throw downs; has consistent footwork and soft hands. Had a compact arm action with a high ¾ slot. He recorded a 60 time of 7.73 at the event.
