Cardona has a strong, athletic build at 6-foot-1 190-pounds. Electric arm action and explosive athlete. Fastball topped at 91 and sat 88-90 for his whole outing. Showed a breaking ball at 70-72, a changeup with armside fade at 78-80 and a slider with cutter-like bite at 72-73. Tall, controlled balance point. Exceptionally strong lower half helps him drive down the mound. Uphill leverage with shoulders on first foot-strike. Lands slightly closed causing him to finish toward first base side of rubber. High-3/4 arm slot, short quick action. High riser in 2018 class - high follow in spring and summer.
