NJ State games 7.24.18
Wofford College recruit. Crehan has a lean and athletic build at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds. The lefty starts on the mound with his feet together and angled towards the first base line. Long, loose, clean arm action. High 3/4 arm slot. Keeps his frontside high down the mound. Uphill shoulder tilt. Throws with intent and conviction. Occasionally falls off to the third base side. Fastball sat 82-83 MPH and touched 84 MPH. Curveball showed sharp horizontal movement at 72-73 MPH. Changeup displayed both run and fade at 70-73 MPH. 
 
2017 New Jersey State Games (July 26-27, 2017)
Crehan has a lanky, wiry frame at 6-foot-1 170-pounds. Fastball topped at 79 MPH and sat mostly 76-79 throughout his two innings of work. Flashed a curveball at 70-71 with smaller 1/7 break and a changeup with armside fade at 68-70 MPH. Up tempo delivery into a tall, athletic balance point. Uphill shoulders as he goes down the mound. Front landing leg is strong and athletic, peels open with landing foot causing him to drift toward third base side of rubber on finish. Long, loose arm action from a high-3/4 slot.


Underclass Games (September 18, 2016)
Crehan has a lanky athletic build at 6-feet 160-pounds. Topped at 75 mph, sat 74-75  mph with a curveball at 67-68 mph and a changeup with some arm side fade at 67-68 as well. Over-the-top arm slot, long loose arm action. Stride length is excellent, front side and chest are strong on first contact going down the mound, and just before release. Continues momentum going toward home plate after finish. Strike thrower, inning was very efficient.
