Vatcher has a tall, lean frame at 6-foot-3 190-pounds. Fastball sat 80-82 mph, topped at 82. Throws primarily from a high-3/4 slot, but has the ability to drop down to a sidearm slot at 80 mph. Showcased a small cutter-like breaking ball at 67 mph, with 11/5 depth. Changeup was best pitch - 67 mph with splitter-like tumble. Stiff wristed with arm action. Yanks gloveside on his finish, causing him to miss location with his fastball down and away to right handed batters. If he can be a little more quiet with that gloveside on his finish, fastball can locate better.
