Physical- Lean, compact 5-foot-7, 160lbs frame. 7.55 runner in the 60.
Offensively- Starts in a low, wide setup with bend in the knees and his weight in his backside. Bat starts rested on the back shoulder before the hands load back along with a lift and replace stride for timing. Hands get on plane early, allowing for a flat, direct barrel path to the baseball. Barrel stays in the zone a long time and works uphill after contact. Max exit velo of 84 MPH.
Defensively- Traditional catchers setup with some slight offset and receives with a straight elbow. Gets wider in throwing scenarios, drives off the back leg to get out of the crouch. Developing foot speed and arm strength. 70 MPH arm from the crouch, 2.20-2.25 pop time
