9/19/15 – Carbonara has a solid build with broad shoulders. He stands 5-foot-11, 195 pounds. He ran a 7.44 in the 60-yard dash, respectable for his position. He has a firm base when hitting and he maximizes his swing utilizing a stacked back side and a repeatable leg kick. He creates back spin and extension with his high finish. He had very good pull side pop. Defensively, he showed a very strong arm and a consistent pop time right on 2.00 down to second and sustained it well in game. His transfer is efficient to his ear and his arm action is short allowing him to get the ball down to second efficiently. He would be around 1.90 if he were to clean up the lower half actions. He had great presence necessary for a high level catcher and he showed to be the best receiver in attendance. He will make an impact in his debut onto the 2016 rankings.
