Gannaway has a lean, wiry-athletic build at 6-foot-2 160-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.05-seconds, recorded an exit velocity of 88 MPH. Offensively – slightly opened and in a crouch with hands just above back shoulder and weight on back side. Uses a small foot lift and stride to start swing, hands stay stagnant in load process. Shows some quickness and looseness in hips and hands in swing. Finishes with some lift. Line drive hitter with a feel for the barrel. Defensively – rangey, athletic at SS with quick, seamless hand exchange and soft glovework. Plays through throws to first base with backspin and carry. Throws topped at 81 MPH across the infield.
