Maher has a strong and athletic frame at 6-foot, 175-pounds. 60 yard dash time was 7.91 seconds with a top exit velocity of 88 MPH. Tall and relaxed stance with hands up high. Average leg kick. Slight movement of the hands directly backwards puts him in a locked and loaded position. Natural bat wrap. Elbow stays parallel to the ground. Strong through the zone, displayed some gap-to-gap power. Defensively, recorded a top velo of 72 MPH in the infield. Smooth footwork, works around the ball. Efficient transfer, quick arm. On the mound, starts in a modified stretch. Gradual delivery, polished mechanics. Works his hands in sync with his leg kick. Even shoulder tilt. Rides the slope. Long, easy arm action. High slot, nearly OTT. Maher;s arm slot creates some downhill action on his FB which was 78-80 MPH, touching 81 MPH. Big, sharp breaker with a plus spin rate generated plenty of swings and misses at 64-67 MPH. Straight CH at 73-74 MPH. Also showed off a cutter with some late lateral action at 72-74 MPH.

Maher has a strong and physical frame at 6-foot, 175-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.25 seconds and recorded a top exit velo of 87 MPH. Starts tall and open at the plate. Hands start by his back shoulder and move down and back during his load. Small leg kick. Pre-pitch rhythm. Powerful and rotational movements. Natural lift to his swing. Some gap-to-gap power present. Recorded a top velo of 79 MPH from the outfield. Controlled approach to the ball. Transfer near his body, following with a glove tap and shuffle. Positional velo of 76 MPH in the infield. Appropriate movements to the ball. Accurate throws to bases. On the mound, the lefty starts with his feet even towards the middle of the rubber. Consistent rhythm and tempo. Rides his back leg down the mound. Strong frontside. Even shoulder tilt while stride direction stays in line. Long, loose arm action. High 3/4 arm slot. FB had some downhill action at 75-77 MPH, touching 79 MPH. CB showed some sharp, swing and miss 1/7 action at 62-65 MPH. A cutter at 67-71 MPH was thrown in the zone with some late bite.

Offensively: Upright, open stance with some bend in the knees, hands start up by the ear with a bat waggle; low leg hang and stride for timing while the front shoulder turns in as the hands push straight back getting some barrel tilt; strong effort from the lower half hitting into a stiff front side, the swing path is direct to contact staying behind the ball well with a uphill 2 hand finish yielding 40% line drive / 60% fly ball rate.
Defensively: Active footwork around the bag; Glove hand is soft with seamless transfers, arm action is short with a side 3/4 release. INF: 73 MPH
