9/20/15 -- Gibson is super athletic at 5-foot-8, 160 pounds. He ran a 6.90 in the 60-yard dash and one of the smoothest swing planes at the event despite not not having an overly impressive day at the plate. He has bat speed and above average hands which allow him to adjust to off-speed. At shortstop, he is incredibly athletic and smooth, has a quick release and carry on his throws. He controls his body extremely well and is very instinctual; showing to have great reads on angles and hops. The high level prospect is committed to Penn State and has a bright future as a spark plug.
