Spalter has a 6-foot-2, 180-pound projectable frame. On the mound, he used a long arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed to the plate. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher. He produced a fastball that came in at 82-83 mph; fastball shows heavy armside action. His 64-66 mph curveball had 11/5 depth when he located it low in the zone. Changeup had some armside fade at 73-74. One of the top uncommitted 2020 pitchers in the state.
