7/16/15 – Jangols has a very athletic build and stands 6-1, 175 pounds. The right-hander pitches from a ¾ arm slot and has a loose, clean arm action and above average arm speed which would indicate more velocity to come. He uses fluid mechanics and solid, repeatable tempo. Jangols pitches with solid command of both his two-seam and four-seam fastballs. His 2-seamer showed late arm side run and his 4-seam fastball was firm in to hitters. His velocity sat between 84-87 miles-per-hour. His slider was two-plane and had late tilt to it. He used it in the zone between 70-71 miles-per-hour and out of the zone at 72-73 with added life. He also showed a late fading changeup that ranged between 73 and 75 MPH. He had excellent command of the above average three-pitch mix which makes him very pitchable.
