At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 90 mph. Begins in a balanced athletic  stance with a small load, then uses a leg kick to initiate his swing. Displayed short, quick bat speed, as well as a short swing plane and high finish. Found lots of barrels in his rounds. Line drive approach. In the infield, showed off his arm strength with a max position velocity of 88 mph; has quick feet and a quick exchange. Movements laterally were athletic, fields the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag and a loose arm action.

Started in athletic stance, had a smooth load and used a leg kick to start his swing. short, compact swing with present bat speed and a high finish. Path exhibited a line drive approach. In the infield, showed the ability to use his body well with strong throws maxing out at 87 mph, which was the top infield positional velocity of the event. Displayed a fluid exchange.. Laterally, his movements were athletic. Using a short arm action, he showed consistent accuracy to the bag from an-over-the-top slot. He clocked a 60 time of 7.06 at the event. Baker will be a high riser in the next update of the 2021 rankings.
