The left-handed-hitter sets up at the plate in an even and balanced stance, with some bend in the knees. Extremely comfortable in the box. Hands have minimal movement backwards during his load. Effortlessly produced loud contact, true pullside power. Accelerates through contact in an uphill path. One of the top rounds of the day. In the infield, Damato played the hops well, works to put himself in a good spot. Smooth transfers, efficient arm action. Top positional velocity of 85 MPH.

At the plate, lefty hitter starts in a wide stance, knees outward with his weight slightly shifted onto his backside. Hands hand minimal movement backwards and move directly through the zone. Swings with controlled aggression, with some natural lift in his swing. Athletic actions at 3B, funnels into his midsection. Top infield velocity of 82 MPH across the diamond. On the mound, Damato engages into his backside during his leg kick, riding that back hip down the slope. High ¾ arm slot, loose arm action. Fastball was 81-83 MPH, touching 84 MPH. Curveball had big up and down shape at 72-75 MPH.
