Walsh had a good showing this week in Niagara. The uncommitted 2022 showed well in the outfield with an athletic 6-foot, 170-pound frame that can move a bit. Good actions to the ball along with some arm. From the right side of the dish, Walsh shows a compact swing and quick hands to the ball. Found himself a couple of extra-base hits throughout the past few days and flashed some juice. An interesting 2022 to keep an eye on.
Athleticism oozes from this speedy lefty. The pieces are raw, but the talent and upside are clear. Running a 7.00 60-yard dash to go along with a high baseball IQ we can’t wait to see how his numbers increase with a refinement in mechanics both at the plate, and in the outfield.
