Long legs with high waist. Good frame with strength, large hands. Room for added athleticism. 8.1 runner in the 60. (C) 71 mph C velo. 1.90-1.97 pop times. Hip/ankle mobility is good, gets deep into his set up. Arm strength plays and balls were thrown down on target, slight 2 seam tail. Quick and consistent to transfer. Footwork is quick, clean and direct. Opens up the torso/ribs slightly while delivering, keeping ribs down will allow him to use all of lower half/full body to get into throws. Good leader behind the plate. (Hitting) Max EV 86.2 mph. Max Dist. 265 feet. RHH. Sets up into his legs, heavy on the back side. Up and down stride direct to the pitcher. Stays on back side throughout swing, would benefit from releasing forward and getting through more balls. Staying on the backside cuts him off slightly. High rate of line drive contact.
