5-foot-10 and 165-pound athletic right-handed pitching prospect. Doran has a quick tempo to his big leg lift and drop and drive type delivery. He moves down the mound quickly and in good direction. Uses a long arm action through a ¾ slot. Filled up the zone with all three of his pitches. Fastball was mostly straight working downhill at 73-75 MPH. Breaking ball is sharp with 11/5 shape and looks to be a potential swing a miss pitch at 62-66 MPH. Also flashed a changeup at 65-66 MPH, the pitch shows some cutting action. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Goes with a double tap for timing, getting his front foot down very early. Barrel flows through load before accelerating on a downhill path to contact. Bat has some whip to it as he works through a middle-away approach. Consistently produced line drives to the opposite field gap with impressive feel for finding the barrel. Would be aided by leveling out path to create more consistent ball flight to pull side. In the infield he showed quick feet with above average lateral mobility. Ball skills are above average and glove looks reliable. Made an outstanding play to both his forehand and backhand side. Very solid defender.
