Body Type: 6-foot 165-pound prospect with some projection remaining.

Swing Mechanics: Utilizes a mini leg kick load with a slightly uphill bat path. Keeps his barrel in the zone well.

Hit: Natural ability to find the barrel well.

Power: 78 mph exit velocity.

Offensive Projection: Showed a somewhat promising swing. Raw physical tools are behind his baseball skills. Gaining strength and power will benefit him and help him get more out of his already pretty good swing.

Field: He waits on the ball a bit but showed good footwork once he had the ball secured. Good glove and an accurate arm.

Throw: 66 mph across the diamond.

Defensive Projection: Shows some solid defensive skills, but raw physical tools would probably limit him to 2B.

1/26/19 Pitching

Body Type: 6-foot 165-pound prospect with room to add strength.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Delivery is fluid requiring moderate effort. Strong lower half and good direction. Works out of a short arm action and ¾ slot.
Fastball: 71-72 mph fastball is mostly straight working on a downhill plane.
Curveball: 59-60 mph breaking ball shows occasional sharpness on an 11/5 tilt. Has potential to be an above average pitch in the future.
Changeup: 64-65 mph changeup is thrown with fastball arm speed and showed heavy sinking action near the plate. Presently above average pitch for his age.
Pitchability: Offers a true three pitch mix and shows advanced pitchability for his age. All three pitches are playable with both secondary offers being at or near above average.
Role: Early signs point towards a future starter here, good size, makeup and pitchability. Will be interesting to see how he develops in the next couple of years.
