Alex Horschler: C/3B, (2022) Solon, OH. 5-foot-9, 195-pound sturdy frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 86 mph. Starts in a crouched balanced stance with a compact load, then uses a controlled stride. Had quick bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. Behind the plate, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 71 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Recorded pop times of 2.03-2.14. Staggered setup with some flexibility. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a time of 7.9 in the 60-yard dash.

Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a crouched stance. Uses a slight back to front load with front side during a simple hand load. Mostly compact stroke as path travels on a downhill path to contact. Physical for class. Landed on a few balls with authority.

Body Type: 5-foot-8, 185-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a tall stance. Goes with a double tap for timoing with quiet hands until swing decision.
Hit: Compact, level stroke through the zone with solid bat to ball skills for class. Swing offers more present strength than speed to it. Worked to the middle of the field in BP.
Power: Contact bat presently that looks to have much more physical maturation left. 74 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: TBD.
Field: Fluid footwork with good direction. Ball comes out well with an accurate arm. Also worked out in the infield. Corner skill set with aggressive feet. Attacks the ball linearly off the bat. Ball skills are developing.
Throw: 70 mph arm strength to second base and 69 mph across the infield.
Defensive Projection: C/Corner Infield.
