Bernardino Anthony: OF/3B, (2022) St. Ignatius, OH. 5-foot-11, 175-pound lean frame. During batting practice, Anthony clocked an exit velocity of 94 mph. Setup includes an athletic stance and a smooth load. Bat speed was above average, used a level swing plane and level finish. Found multiple barrels in his round. In the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 80 mph; showed consistent feet, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Ran a 4.28 30 yard dash.
Hit:Righty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a leg kick timing trigger during back load to hands. Aggressive swinger with a flat path. Ball comes off well, especially to pull side.
Power:Flashed gap abilities.
Offensive Projection:Middle ceiling.
Field:Plays with a fluid pace in his approach in the outfield. Ball skills are on par for class and he can maintain rhythm in play through.
Throw:Average strength with present accuracy.
Defensive Projection:Corner look.
2/12/20 Position Player
Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Uses a slight back load to hands during small leg lift down low. Aggressive swinger with a mostly level path. Barrel has some lag. Physical prospect with above average bat speed. Ball comes off well. Swing played best to the opposite field gap in BP.
Power:Flashed gap abilities.
