Begins in a balanced open stance with an active smooth load, then uses a small quick stride. Bat speed is quick efficient, has a short level swing plane and level finish. He barreled up a few balls with some loud contact. Up the middle base hit approach. Solid capable in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 72 mph; had smooth in control footwork, consistent sure hands, and a lengthy developing exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Solid capable on the mound, showed quick good arm speed, he had a consistent loose arm action with a ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses decent effort. Displays even in line shoulders and an athletic low balance point. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Shows both sides of the plate control and slight action with straight movement. (Max spin 1845; Avg 1820). Threw his sharp curveball with sweeping action and around the zone control. (Max spin 1873; Avg 1846).
