Begins in a balanced stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick explosive, displays a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. He produced tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Aggressive approach. Confident in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 74 mph; shows a natural exchange, sure hands, and fluid feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used uninterrupted slot and a short quick arm action. Confident on the mound, used a short arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Showed consistent balance point and uphill shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. (Max spin 2128; Avg 1985).
