5/31/16
5-foot-10, 195-pound athletic build. On the mound he shows a compact, repeatable delivery. Shows some rhythm in his windup allowing him to keep good direction to the plate. Occasionally lands closed at foot strike, causing him to fall towards the first base side of the mound. Three pitch mix with the fastball sitting 81-84 mph. Curveball sits 67-70 mph with gradual 11/5 break. Changeup sits 74-75 mph. At the plate the righty has fluidity to his load as he takes his hands back during his short, aggressive stride forward. Has above average strength and batspeed through the zone, while his level bat path allowed him to find the barrel consistently. Registered an exit velocity of 85 mph and ran a 4.48 from home to first. In the infield he does a nice job of creating angles prior to fielding position that allow him to play through the ball. Needs to work on lateral quickness. Threw across the infield with 77 mph arm strength.
