Clay Miller: 3B/RHP, (2025) New lexington high school, OH. 5-foot-11, 185-pound. (70.5 mph bat speed average). (21.9 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced tall stance with a rhythmic load, then uses a small leg kick controlled. Bat speed was efficient developing, showed a long upward swing plane and high finish. He found a few barrels with some loud contact. Base hit line drive approach. Smooth capable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 73 mph; had in control choppy footwork, a quick natural exchange, and soft sure hands. Fielded the ball deep with athletic movement laterally. Smooth solid on the mound, showed good quick arm speed, he had a short compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Balance point is tall with an even shoulders during delivery. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Had some cutting slight action and both sides of the plate command with tight movement. (Max spin 1820; Avg 1718). Threw a sharp curveball with control around the zone and slurvey action. (Max spin 1636; Avg 1496). Shows sinking action and down in the zone command on his heavy changeup.
