Begins in a tall narrow stance with a quick smooth load, then uses a short controlled stride. Bat speed is above average quick, uses a simple upward swing plane and high finish. He barreled up multiple balls with some loud contact. Aggressive line drive approach. Solid capable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 78 mph; had consistent in control footwork, a fluid natural exchange, and firm sure hands. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball deep. Solid projectable on the mound, showed a short compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick good arm speed. Slow-tempo tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses some effort. Tall balance point with even in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Shows some tailing action and both sides of the plate command with tight movement. (Max spin 1925; Avg 1839). Had plus slurvey action and down in the zone control on his sharp curveball. (Max spin 2211; Avg 2151).
