Derek Lewis: RHP/SS, (2025) Springboro High School, OH. 6-foot, 155-pound. (62.7 mph bat speed average). (22.0 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Has efficient bat speed, level swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 64 mph; had sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent footwork. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a high ¾ slot and a consistent arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 7.31 at the event. On the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action with consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1936; Avg 1855). Threw a 10/4 slider with late action. (Max spin 2026; Avg 2015).
