Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a short small leg kick. Bat speed was explosive, displayed a short uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Had a lot of loud contact and found lots of barrels. Aggressive approach. Smooth recorded an outfield position velocity of 72 mph; has next level hands, a clean fluid exchange, and athletic feet.
