Jack Genzman: RHP/RHP, (2022) Ottawa Hills, OH. 5-foot-11, 155-pound. Solid on the mound, showing some arm speed he used a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and shows easy effort. Shows in line shoulders. Shows a clean finish. Curveball (70-73 mph), changeup (73-73 mph), slider (72-73 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 81-82 mph.
Jack Genzman: RHP, (2022) Ottawa Hills, OH. 5-foot-11, 155-pound athletic frame. On the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had a loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows easy effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Sat with his fastball at 80-82 mph; has running action and arm side command. Had plus action on his 11/5 curveball (71-73). Shows fading action and arm side command on his changeup (76-77). Throws a 11/5 slider (72-73) with plus action.
Scouting Notes:Athletic look to him on the mound. Uptempo pace to a delivery that requires some effort. Fastball/breaking ball guy that mixes well. Fastball should have more gas in the tank as he adds physicality and he spins the breaker really well. Good sell on the breaker with later action.
Fastball:77-78 mph. Sinks a bit with regular ASR.
Fastball Spin Rate:1586-1815
Curveball:70-72 mph. Very good spin here, pitch dives, impressive offering at times.
Curveball Spin Rate:1845-2020
Body Type: 5-foot-10, 130-pound narrow frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Slightly up tempo delivery with regular effort. Throws from a ¾ arm slot with a whip like arm action. Stays on top of the ball well.
Fastball: 72-74 mph. Shows arm side movement at times.
Curveball: 60-61 mph. 11-5 trajectory with gradual break.
Slider: 61-64 mph. 10-4 shape average depth.
Pitchability: Strike thrower. Curveball shows out pitch potential as he continues to develop.
