(20.4 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced quiet stance with a quick load, then used a small leg kick controlled. Bat speed is quick, displays a simple short swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 69 mph; showed choppy feet, a clean exchange, and firm hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a time of 7.97 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 70-71 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1778; Avg 1735). His changeup (66-68) has fading action.
